We wanted to provide some clarity regarding this issue.</span></p>
<p style="line-height: 14.25pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: &quot;Trebuchet MS&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;;">This training was organised and run by our client as part of a wider agreement with LOCOG to provide the services at the Olympic Park. A training fee was to be paid by the client on behalf of LOCOG if attendance was confirmed.  The Staff Company offered to process these payments as part of our payroll to smoothen the process. Unfortunately to date we are still waiting for these fees to be released in order for us to process them. </span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We understand that there are some staff members who have not yet received payment for their work in December. Please find an update from our external payments company below:</p>
<p><em>&#8216;We have been experiencing some issues with our payments which we are trying to resolve as quickly as we can. Over 70% of all transactions have gone through without trouble however that’s not the score we would have like to achieved with our new payment processes in place. If you have not received a payment that was due please contact the payments team THROUGH THE BLOG and we will strive to rectify this within four working days.&#8217;</em></p>
<p>To address the issues on a permanent basis we will be moving our banking facilities from our international bank to a local English bank in the very near future. This should improve reliability and ensure you receive your payments on the 25<sup>th</sup> of each month.</p>
<p>As said we can ensure you we will be resolving this as quickly as we can. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.</p>

<p>THE STAFF COMPANY ARE OFFERING A £5 REFERRAL FEE FOR THE FIRST 50 STAFF THAT APPLY WHEN RECOMMENDED BY YOU. There has been an exceptional number of queries regarding holiday pay. To be clear it is standard practice across all businesses and a recognised caveat of employment law that you can only claim holiday pay for the current employment  year which  is defined in your contract:

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong style="font-weight: bold;">Holiday payment</strong></p>
<p>There has been an exceptional number of queries regarding holiday pay. To be clear it is standard practice across all businesses and a recognised caveat of employment law that <strong style="font-weight: bold;">you can only claim holiday pay for the current employment  year</strong> which  is defined in your contract:</p>
<p align="center"><em style="font-style: italic;">“Your leave year commences on 1<sup style="vertical-align: super;">st</sup> January and ends on the 31<sup style="vertical-align: super;">st</sup> December each year.”</em></p>
<p>This way of allocating and claiming holiday and/or holiday pay is a standard industry practice and the subject of a current EU proposition. It is the same system that all employees (including myself) in this company (and most others) work under.</p>
<p>Please note that by law we are obliged to withold 12.07% of your earnings until you request it (this amount is also subject to tax). All staff are on a zero hour contract and accrue holiday pay for every hour that worked(works out at 12.07% not inc. tax). However because of this, holiday pay can only be claimed the month after the payment date once the number of hours worked that month is calculated:</p>
<p><em>EXAMPLE: Work in January is paid on February 25th 2013. You can claim holiday pay for January after this date (only via the blog) and it will be paid to you on 25th March 2013, AS LONG AS HAVE CLAIMED IT THROUGH THE BLOG!</em></p>
<p>Please also note that you can only claim holiday pay for 2013 up until December 31st 2013 (as explained above).<em> For example you would not be able to claim backdated holiday pay for 2013 in January 2014 (with the exception of December as that is paid in January)</em></p>
